If some blogger said untrue stuff about me on her blog, how can I sue her?

What are the "criterias" for me to win the lawsuit?
If some blogger said untrue stuff about me on her blog, how can I sue her?
If you want to sue and win, you have to prove (1) that she posted something about you that was false, (2) that she knew it was false, (3) that the comments were made with deliberate malicious intent, and (4) that you have suffered harm as a result. The first and last points are easy to make -- it's the second and third points that are next to impossible to prove. You'd have to have at least one person who heard this blogger say she knew she was posting false information about you and that she did it to harm you -- give you a bad reputation, hurt your relationships with friends or business associates, etc.

People who sue for libel or slander rarely win. The easiest defenses against such a suit are "Hey, I didn't know it was a lie," or "Hey, I didn't mean to hurt anyone." You can try contacting a lawyer, but chances are it would be a waste of time and money to take it to court.
Reply:it depends on the stuff said about you on whether or not you'll win as well as whether any real damage was done as in are you a celebrity (news anchor tv actor etc) or other famous person and did it negatively impact your status or ability to work at which point you could sue for defamation of character did physical harm of yourself family members Friends or property occur due to what was said and were these results intended at which point it could be perceived as malicious intent
Reply:Get your lawyer to scan it and tell you if its slanderous, defamatory or libelous, also ask if its worth dragging them thru the courts. A cease and desist email from your lawyer might make them delete it ??
Reply:You can try suing for libel but you have to prove that her comments had a serious, negative impact on you, such as damaging your reputation among your professional peers.
Reply:Who cares. Just don't get on the internet anymore.
Reply:you would have to be able to show damages and an intent to cause harm.

Reply:Show me the site and I'll tell you.
