What is a blog, blogger, bloggesphere, and why should I care?

As far as why you should care..... you don't have to. Since blogs are just personal information sites, if you don't care what the writer has to say, that's cool. But if you ever do an internet search for something, and if you're directed to a blog, the only thing you MUST care about is the information presented is strictly unedited (and maybe unsubstantiated) personal opinion of the writer. Take it with a grain of salt until you do your own independent research. You might find out the blogger doesn't know what he's talking about. Kinda like some of the answers in Y!A ;-)
